Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for brand owners looking for a manufacturer and for manufacturers who want to list here. Type a word below to jump to the right one.
Finding a manufacturer
For brand owners, marketing companies and anyone getting medicines made under their own name.
How do I find a third party manufacturer here?
Open a category under Products Wise or Speciality Wise, or search for the product or molecule you need. Each category lists the manufacturers that make it, and you can narrow it to a city or state. Contact one straight from its listing, or post a single requirement and let the ones that make it come to you.
Browse all categoriesDo buyers pay anything?
No. Browsing, sending enquiries and posting a requirement are free for buyers. You never pay us to receive a quote.
What should I write in my requirement?
The product name or composition, the dosage form, the pack size and the quantity you want in the first order. Mention whether your brand name is registered and which city you are in. The more a manufacturer knows, the closer its first quote will be to the real price.
Post a requirementWho sees my requirement and my phone number?
Only manufacturers that make the products you asked about. Your details are not published on the site.
How soon will I hear back?
Most buyers hear from a manufacturer within a day. A rare product or a very small quantity can take longer, so keep your phone close for the first couple of days.
What documents do I need to start third party manufacturing?
Usually a wholesale drug licence, GST registration and a brand name that is registered or applied for as a trademark. The manufacturer makes the product under its own manufacturing licence and product permission. The list can change by state and by product, so confirm it with your manufacturer before you place the order.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
It depends on the product and the plant. Tablets and capsules are made in batches, and syrups, injections and ointments each have their own batch sizes. Many manufacturers here will take a small first order from a new brand, so ask for the MOQ when you ask for a quote.
Can I ask for samples or visit the plant?
Yes, and you should before a large first order. Most manufacturers will send samples of a running product and let you visit or take a video call from the production floor. Ask for the certificate of analysis of a recent batch while you are at it.
Listing your company
For manufacturers and contract makers who want enquiries from brand owners.
How do I list my company or products?
Click Join as Manufacturer at the top of the page and fill in the form. Our team checks the details and puts your listing live, usually within one working day.
Join as ManufacturerWhat does it cost?
A basic listing is free. Buyers can also post requirements and contact manufacturers for free. Paid placement, which puts a listing above the free ones in its category, is optional.
What do I get with a free listing?
Your own company page, up to 10 product listings, a contact form on your page, enquiry alerts by email and WhatsApp, and a place in the category and city searches that buyers use.
How do enquiries reach me?
Each enquiry on your listing is sent to your email and your phone. Buyers can also message you on WhatsApp from your page. Your email address is not shown on the site, so it does not attract spam.
Why is my listing not live yet?
Every new listing is reviewed before it goes live, and an edited listing goes back for a quick review too. That keeps fake and copied listings off the site. If it has been more than a working day, call or email us.
Can I add photos and a product list?
Yes. From your company panel you can add up to 6 photos to each post, and build a product catalogue with your own product categories, compositions and pack sizes. The first photo of a post is the one shown on its card.
How long does my listing stay on the site?
A listing is normally switched off automatically after 3 months. We email you a week before that and again on the day. You can put it back online by logging in to your account. If you leave it switched off for too long, it is removed permanently.
How do I change my phone number or address?
Update it once on your profile in the company panel. Every post takes its contact details from the profile, so they all change together.

Trust and safety
How listings are checked, and how to protect yourself before you pay anyone.
Are the manufacturers verified?
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and we check the drug licence and GST details we are given. The certificates on a company page are the ones that company has declared, and we cannot inspect every plant. Before you order, ask for copies of the WHO-GMP certificate, the manufacturing licence and the product permission. Any serious manufacturer will send them.
How do I avoid being cheated?
Check the GST number on the GST portal and make sure the legal name matches. Get a quotation or proforma invoice on the company letterhead before paying. Pay only into a current account in the company name, never a personal account or someone's UPI ID. Start with a small first order. And never share an OTP, card PIN or banking password; no real business needs them.
What are the warning signs of a fake supplier?
A price far below everyone else, pressure to pay today, refusal to share the licence or factory address, and a request for full advance payment into an unrelated account. One of these is a reason to slow down. Two is a reason to walk away.
How do I report a suspicious company?
Tell us through the contact page with the company name and what happened. We look at every report and remove listings that turn out to be fake.

Working out PTR, PTS, MRP and GST for a third party range.
How do I work out PTR and PTS from the MRP?
Take the GST out of the MRP first, then take off the retailer margin to get the PTR, then the stockist margin to get the PTS. The free calculator does it in one step and also shows your profit over the manufacturer's rate.
PTR & PTS calculatorHow do I set the MRP for a third party product?
Start from the PTS you need to make a profit, add the stockist and retailer margins, then add GST. The calculator's "Find MRP from PTS" mode works backwards from the price you want.
Find MRP from PTSWhich GST rate applies to medicines?
Most medicines are at 5% GST from 22 September 2025, and some life-saving drugs are at 0%. The rate is set by the HSN code, so confirm it for each product with your CA.
GST calculatorIs the manufacturer's rate quoted with or without GST?
Usually without. Ask whether packing material, printing of cartons and labels, and freight are included, because two quotes that look the same can differ a lot once those are added.
